Simon & Schuster Leading Race for Trump Tell-All Books
I would say in July of 2020, the most popular subject and most anticipated books are about President Donald J. Trump. And in the Trump Market, as far as books are concerned, Simon and Shuster is leading the way in the expose' department. They recently released John Bolten's Tell all, "The Room Where it Happened" has sold just under 1 million copies. Pre sells of the, "soon to be released" tell-all from Mary Trump, "Too Much and Never Enough" promises to be the personal, tell-all, we have been wanting. The appeals court has shot down an attempt from Trump's brother to stop the release, stating Mary Trump had signed an NDA many years ago, saying she would ask permission from the family before publishing any information. The judge decided, that while that may be OK for a Real Estate developer, keeping his business private is something they believe in BUT the same can't be said for the President of the United States. Basically, these decisions he has made may or may not have been for the best interest of him and his family. These are things that could affect us, so the book WILL be released.
We have seen information come out earlier this week stating, "Melania Trump, early in her husband's presidency, remained in New York City, while she renegotiated their prenup! Looks like Old Trump is making more deals with Russia, that won't end up benefitting him in the end. Also, the book released by John Bolton contains damning information about how the president completely disregards the rule of law, the quote he describes the president's view on the law in his book is "obstruction of justice as a way of life".
Now we as we patiently wait for Trump's niece to release her book, we truly think this book will give us a rare glimpse into why the President is the way he is. This release is being pitched as a revolutionary piece of literature that "shines a bright light on the dark history of their family in order to explain how her uncle became the man wh now threatens the world's health, economic security, and social fabric."
These books definitely paint a negative picture of the president, which is why he has fought so hard to stop the release and guess who published both books? Simon and Schuster, who is leaving the other publishers behind in the race to publish new, news-making titles about our current administration.
Why are we seeing these books now? Mainly because it is extremely lucrative to be in the Trump book business right now. John Bolton's book is holding the Number 1 spot on Amazon's best-seller list since before being released and while Mary Trump's new book hasn't even been released yet, it holds the number 3 spot! Simon and Schuster are planning on increasing their print run to keep up with the demand for these books. Whether you're a fan or foe of this administration, it seems everyone is interested in learning how and why he functions the way he does.
But all of these book sales don't come without the negatives. Simon and Schuster have now found itself dead in the center of this administration's crosshairs (who has filed more lawsuits and had more filed against them, than any other president in history). Simon and Schuster do not seem too worried and have said, "this is nothing more than the latest in a long-running series of efforts by the administration to quash publication of a book it deems unflattering to the president". That may be an understatement, as Bolton's book paints the President as an imbecile, who is only out to benefit himself and his family. He has no respect for the law, military, or anyone who has had to work hard to get to the point they are in their lives. When you've been given everything your entire life, it seems it would be difficult to relate to someone who has had nothing their entire life and the little the get they have to fight and work so hard for. These same people who live like this are the ones that enable him to do what he does. They are voting against their own interest and don't realize they are the exact people Trump hates.
We are starting to see content from this book leaked out already and even pre-ordering won't guarantee you'll receive a copy on release day, as they are going fast. Simon and Schuster have come out and state they aren't coming at this from a partisan place, they are only giving voters the information and context that is needed to man an informed decision in the 2020 election.
Simon and Schuster as well as many other publishers have several more Trump-related books lined up for release later this summer. Don't worry, we'll have the links to pre-order at the best price available on the internet!
If you are like us you are patiently waiting to read this one as it's not often a family member in a family as large, known, and successful as Trump's has a book written by an insider who is willing to spill the beans on this family's deepest darkest secrets. I don't know about you, but I'm intrigued and ready to see what Mary Trump exposes in her new book, "Too Much and Never Enough".
